1. What types of plastic bags can be produced with AMK’s bag making machines?
AMK coordinates bag making machine projects for four main formats: T-shirt vest bags for retail and supermarkets, bottom-seal flat bags for food and industrial packaging, side-seal bags for garment and protective covers, and perforated rollstock bags for produce departments and on-demand dispensing.
2. What plastic films are compatible with bag making machines?
Standard bag making machines process HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE films, as well as blends with biodegradable additives. The specific configuration of unwinding tension, sealing temperature and cutting speed is adjusted based on film thickness, composition and final bag specification.
3. What is the difference between bottom seal and side seal bag making machines?
Bottom seal machines seal and cut the bottom edge of the film, producing flat bags with the sealed edge at the base — ideal for food and industrial packaging requiring leak-resistant containment. Side seal machines seal the lateral edges before cutting, producing bags with clean side seams — preferred for garment bags, sleeves and protective covers where edge presentation matters.
