About Miami Plastic Distributor AMK

SJPH Series Extruder

The SJPH Series Blown Film Extruder is designed for stable production of LDPE, HDPE, and LLDPE tubular film used in packaging and bag manufacturing. Its high-performance screw design, efficient cooling system, and inflation spiral die head ensure consistent film thickness and reliable extrusion output.

Twin Head Extruder Catalog

The Twin Head Blown Film Extruder is designed for high-efficiency production of polyethylene films using dual extrusion heads. This configuration enables simultaneous production of two film rolls, improving productivity while maintaining stable thickness and film quality.

Mini Type Blown Film Extruder Catalog

These machine is a compact extrusion system designed for economical production of small-width polyethylene films. Its simple structure and efficient screw design make it ideal for producing films used in shopping bags, T-shirt bags, and packaging applications.

1. What is a plastic extruder machine?

A plastic extruder machine is manufacturing equipment that melts thermoplastic resin and forces it through a shaped die to produce continuous plastic forms such as tubular films, flat sheets, profiles, pipes and tubes. Widely used across packaging, construction, agriculture and consumer goods manufacturing, extrusion is the foundational process behind plastic bag films, greenhouse covers, packaging sheets, geomembranes and any application requiring continuous plastic output with consistent thickness, width and material distribution.

2. What’s the difference between SJPH, twin head, and mini blown film extruders?

SJPH Series blown film extruders are the workhorse configuration for stable, continuous production of LDPE, HDPE and LLDPE tubular film used in packaging and bag manufacturing at medium-to-high volumes, combining high-performance screw geometry with efficient cooling and inflation spiral die heads for consistent film thickness. Twin head blown film extruders run two extrusion heads simultaneously, producing two film rolls in parallel and effectively doubling output without doubling floor space — the standard configuration for high-volume converters. Mini type blown film extruders are compact economical systems designed for small-width polyethylene films, ideal for producing shopping bags, T-shirt bags and small packaging formats where capital investment and floor space are primary constraints.

3. What materials and products can be produced with a plastic extruder?

Plastic extruder machines process the full range of common thermoplastic resins including LDPE (low-density polyethylene), HDPE (high-density polyethylene), LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) and polypropylene, transforming raw resin into continuous forms used for shopping bags, T-shirt bags, food packaging films, agricultural films, industrial packaging sheets, geomembranes, plastic tubing and pipe extrusion. The specific extruder configuration — screw diameter, die head design, cooling system and take-off equipment — is selected based on the target film width, thickness range and production volume.

4. How does the blown film extrusion process work?

Blown film extrusion melts plastic resin inside a heated screw barrel and forces the molten material vertically upward through a circular die head, forming a continuous tube of plastic. Compressed air introduced through the die inflates the tube into a bubble that is cooled by an air ring as it rises, controlling wall thickness and material distribution. The cooled bubble is collapsed by nip rollers at the top of the tower and wound onto rolls as flat tubular film or slit into single-layer sheets. Screw speed, die gap, cooling air pressure and take-off speed are the four variables that determine final film thickness, clarity and mechanical properties.

5. Where can I find a plastic extruder machine supplier for the Americas?

AMK Plastics coordinates plastic extruder machine projects between established manufacturing partners and producers across the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America. AMK supplies SJPH Series blown film extruders, twin head extruder configurations and mini type blown film systems for polyethylene film production, bag manufacturing and general packaging film applications. Equipment ships directly from the manufacturing partner to your facility, with specification guidance, installation coordination and ongoing technical support managed from AMK’s Miami office.
